What Do You Do When You’re Struggling in Life

Seasons of trial, hardship and difficulty are part of life. Thankfully, there is a proper mindset that can help us the times when we’re struggling in life.

In this episode of the Good Christian Podcast, Alex Sanfilippo talks about how our mindset is what helps us get through hard times when we’re struggling in life. He shares a personal story from his childhood which later in life taught him to gain this new mindset on getting through difficult times.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” – James 1:2-3, 12

  1. jUST WENT THROUGH MORE THAN A FEW DIFFICULT DAYS…..REMINDING MYSELF THAT MY DISCOMFORT WAS AS NOTHING COMPARED TO jESUS’ SUFFERING HELPED ME GET THROUGH THEM WITH LESS THAN USUAL COMPLAINING AND FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF. AND THE SURPRISING CARING AND KINDNESS FROM SOMEONE i HAD NOT THOUGHT OF AS A CLOSE FRIEND WAS AN EYE-OPENER TO THE FACT THAT LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS AS OURSELVES IS A LESSON JESUS TAUGHT US , AND MAKES ME ASHAMED I HAVE NOT PRACTICED IT OFTEN
    ENOUGH.
